Record breaking snowfall. 9.4 inches already. That is the most amount of snow DFW has EVER had from one single snow storm. EVER! That is one thing I learned today. Another is that a 10 month old baby does not quite fit as comfortably in a Baby Bjorn as a 2 month old baby does. (I tried to have Kadence help us with the snowman building without getting buried or frozen in snow. Guess what, she ended up hanging on the deck for the most part! We tried...) Today really was such an awesome day, it was filled with so many firsts! Kenzie's first time building a snowman. Kenzie's first time making a snow angel. Kenzie and I's first snowball fight! Kenzie's first cup of hot cocoa! We had layers upon layers of clothing on and just had fun. Playing! And when we did take a break from the snow so Kadence could nap, we made Valentine cookies (for a play date that probably won't be happening tomorrow but just in case, we are prepared!) Yes, making cookies while looking outside at the beautiful snow coming down. We were in our own Norman Rockwell painting...for an hour or so anyway... :) What a day!
