Camping at Lake Whitney

With it being September now and summer coming to an almost official end, we decided it would be fun to take the jet ski's out for one last spin and go on a camping trip with some great friends of ours, the Doucet's! Jenn and Christian have a daughter Charlotte who is just 2 weeks older than Kenz (born on May 6th actually, our anniversary!!!) We all headed down to Lake Whitney which is about 65 miles south of us. It is absolutely beautiful down there! The the water was perfect, the weather was gorgeous, about mid 80's, yet the nights were just cool enough! We cooked over a campfire, we watched the boys fish, the girls explored and played, we saw a lot of deer roaming around, we made s'mores (HAD TO!!! It is camping after all!!!!!) and we had an awesome end to summer! Oh, and that last picture of Kenzie I just had to include. I know it's the back of her head but can you see those CURLS?! Thank goodness for strong Johnson genes because Bassett genes don't make pretty curls like that!!!
