Oh yes they were! Mr.Tim McGraw entertained us, along with 10 of our friends (and about 20,000 others) this past Saturday night at an awesome concert! It was hotter than hot at first, but by the time he went on stage, the sun had set, it was about 85 degrees, there was actually a slight breeze and the night was PERFECT! Highlight of his set was definitely when he played Tiny Dancer (which is automatically a fav since my brother and sister-in-law danced to that at their wedding) but Tim (we're buddies, on a first name basis you see ;) ) brought a little girl (who looked about 9 years old) onto stage, twirled her around as he sang, and when all was done got down on one knee like a true cowboy, and thanked her for the dance. How can you not love this guy?! Anyhow, Lady Antebellum opened for him and they are fantastic live!! If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend seeing both of them!

"The Cicadas making noise, with a Southern Voice..."
Now remember, my parents were in town, right?! SO, a special shout out to them because they helped us turn our fun night into a mini-staycation! With the concert being in Dallas we made a night of it, hotel room and all! Nonna and Grandpa had the kids and we had a fun night to ourselves! Here we are enjoying the fun!
