Texas State Fair

Did you know that currently, the "Texas Star" Ferris wheel at the State Fair of Texas is the tallest in North America? Did you know that the Texas State Fair is the largest state fair in the country? (Of course it is, everything is bigger in Texas, haven't you heard?!) And finally, did y'all know that OPRAH (no need to comment all you haters out there ;) ) traveled all the way from Chicago to check out our fair herself last year??? That's right, it's big. BIG. This year, we decided if Oprah can go, so can we. We decided to say good-bye to B-town and head over to D-town to meet up with our dear friends to see the fair for ourselves. One word: AWESOME! There were rides, a petting zoo, face painting and even a rodeo that Kenz and Mal participated in. We did not partake in the array of fried food but it was there. EVERYWHERE! For the fried food enthusiast you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner/dessert and beverages all fried. Butter, spaghetti, oreos, beer. Margaritas. Margaritas?! Seriously. Anyhow, the weather was 79 degrees, the sun was shining and it was just the perfect day to bring in fall!

1) The face painting!
2) the girls feeding a baby goat at the petting zoo. They L-O-V-E-D it!!!
3) YEE-HAW! Kenzie knocking down a bull in the Pee Wee Rodeo!!!
4) 3 little girls happy as can be ♥
5) The fair going fam!
6) Okay, the last ride Kenzie did. She went with Jason. They flew. FLEW. High. I wasn't a huge fan of this ride at first, but daddy loved it. And then Kenzie loved it. Enough said.
