"Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family.
We headed to Arizona for our second annual Thanksgiving with our crew down in Tucson.
Some of Jason's oldest, bestest, friends live there.
They would do anything for us, and we for them. For beginners, the Wolf's picked us up
at the airport, drove down to Tucson with us, and then lent us their car for 6 days. Who
does that? Our great friends, that's who.
We stayed with Uncle Dan who always goes all out getting his bachelor pad baby friendly :)
Had dinner at the Brozek's who cooked the most phenomenal meal. Oh, and they announced THEY
were preggo too so there were 3 of us there! Kenzie played with her buddy Alyssa who she may
only see once a year but has yet to know she will be a life long friend. We ate, we laughed, not
only Thursday but until Sunday morning when we left. Creating more memories that have us looking at
each other every now and again saying "When are we going back to Tucson..."
Sunday morning, up to Phoenix we went. Time to visit with the fam. Last time they saw Kenzie she wasn't
walking, so she's grown quite a bit! She can say 'Osh' (for Uncle Josh) which my brother
loves. She can say 'Poppie' for my grandfather which I love. He is her only living
great-grandparent and it warms my heart seeing them together. We saw the whole
extended fam on Sunday night as my Auntie so graciously volunteered to host 'Thanksgiving
Part 2' to ensure we saw everyone. Then she even volunteered to babysit Monday night
so Jason and I could have a night on the town with Josh and Emily. The trip was wonderful
and not that we need reminding, but we continue to be SO THANKFUL for our clan. Our network.
Our tribe. Our family.
