Nemo...

As in Kenzie's first pet, a beta fish we have named Nemo! Inspired of course by the movie, we decided today was the day Kenzie would get her own little fish! Off to PetsMart we went where Kenzie was just captivated by all of the fish! We chose a fish that could fit in the smallest fish bowl possible, therefore we ended up with a beta! We brought Nemo home, got his bowl all set up and took him from his tiny little cup into his new haven filled with colorful rocks and a hot pink plant! Kenzie is mesmerized by her fish but doesn't understand yet that 1)no, you cannot put your hands in the bowl and try to get him out and 2) You should not tap on the bowl, it scares him! It was very cute though, when we got back from dinner tonight, she ran into the house over to where we have the fish, pointed up and said "NEMO!!!!!!!" So far, it's a success... :)
