Tumbling...

A few weeks ago we put Kenzie in her first tumbling class. She is the 2nd youngest in the class. Ages range from 1 19 month old, Kenzie (20 months) and then 2-3 yrs old. She loved it but during the first class a few concepts were hard for her to grasp...#1 being that she had to WAIT her turn to go up to the teacher to do a roll or anything in general. She was not very fond of waiting and as she watched the 12 other children go in front of her I had to restrain her as she yelled out "TURN! TURN!" (As in 'ISN'T IT MY TURN YET?!?!" Also, at the beginning of class the teacher calls out every child's name and the child stands up and says "TA-DA!!!" Well our little social butterfly insisted upon running around the room to whomever has their name called and saying "TA-DA!" with them! Oh goodness, what a mess! Anyhow, 2nd class went much better as there were 2 teachers so the wait wasn't as long and Kenzie definitely understood a little better that sitting down and doing the exercises was really what the class was about...not walking around greeting everyone!! She loves Miss Pam and Miss Ashley and cannot wait until they call her name to come on up and strut her stuff!!!
