We always knew...

he was a ladies man, but now Uncle Dan has officially captured the hearts of our little girls :) Okay, well maybe it is too early to tell with Kadence but Kenzie DEFINITELY loves her Uncle Dan! At dinner one night while he was here we asked her "Kenzie, who is your best friend?" (The answer as of late has been Baby Kadence...) Her answer? UNCLE DAN!!!

Jason's best friend Dan makes it into town at least once a year and being that he had a new niece to meet, his timing was perfect on this last trip! He and Jason had a blast as always doing what best friends do best: beer drinking, gun shooting, motorcycle/car dealership visiting, staying up until the early hours of the morning just shooting the breeze.

As I was uploading the pictures of Dan's visit to the computer I started thinking how funny it is how much life changes. We have not one picture of Dan and Jason from this trip, however we have several of Dan with one or both of our girls. We, as adults, retain the memories of these visits in our hearts and heads but now as parents it becomes more important that we have these pictures for Kenzie and Kadence so we can say 'He knew you when...'

To have a best friend who has seen you through life's crazy twists and turns is just awesome. I was lucky enough to marry into the friendship and now my girls get one of the best Uncle's ever and for that, we are all lucky :)
